Our Curriculum
Our preschool curriculum is designed to prepare children for kindergarten readiness, using the Creative Curriculum, which aligns with New York State preschool learning standards outlined in the Early Childhood Learning Outcomes Framework (ELOF) and the Prekindergarten Foundation for the Common Core (PKFCC). These standards focus on progressively enhancing children's skills and knowledge through a child-centered, experimental, and hands-on play-based approach.
To enhance their learning journey and broaden their perspectives, our preschool children will explore impactful units, including "My Community," "My Environment," and "Change and Growth Around Me." These units emphasize inquiry and critical thinking, laying a strong foundation for a child's educational path aligned with the Common Core.
Throughout the school year, we will nurture inquiry, language skills, and problem-solving abilities through interactive, student-led classroom activities, diverse reading materials, new vocabulary, purposeful play, and active family involvement in all learning modules.
