Zosha Williams is a dedicated and innovative early childhood educator who enriches the learning environment at Scarsdale Community Baptist Nursery School (SCBNS) with her unique blend of warmth, creativity, and expert care. Originally from Jamaica and now residing in Mount Vernon, New York, Zosha brings a rich cultural perspective and a deep commitment to fostering child development.
Zosha’s educational journey began at Bronx Community College, where she pursued studies in speech-language pathology. Her focus on child communication and development led her to complete several prestigious educator workshops and obtain certifications, including the International TEFL certification. These experiences have equipped her with invaluable skills in curriculum development, classroom management, child development, and both art-based and project-based learning methodologies.
Since joining SCBNS, Zosha has applied her extensive background in the arts and social-emotional learning to craft inclusive and engaging classroom spaces where every child is valued and celebrated. Her ability to foster creativity and build meaningful connections through play is a testament to her several years of hands-on experience in both school and home settings. Zosha’s professional repertoire includes roles as an arts enrichment educator, preschool teacher, and afterschool program director within both the Department of Education and private schools.
Beyond the classroom, Zosha is a writer, budding social entrepreneur, and lifelong learner with a passion for exploring cultural traditions and their impact on identity and expression.
