Kristina Projansky is a dedicated and experienced early childhood educator who brings both passion and expertise to her role at Scarsdale Community Baptist Nursery School. Originally hailing from Queens, NY, Kristina relocated to Eastchester in 2013, where she and her husband are raising their two children. Her academic background includes a Bachelor’s degree in English from St. Francis College, equipping her with a strong foundation in language arts and communication, which she effectively incorporates into her teaching.
Kristina began her journey at SCBNS in the Fall of 2018 as a substitute teacher for the 2’s class. Her enthusiasm and natural ability to connect with young children quickly became evident, leading her to accept a position as an Assistant Teacher in the Fall of 2019. Her commitment to the growth and development of her students is undeniable, as demonstrated by her subsequent role in the Caregiver & Me Program, where she worked with children aged 1 to 3 years, fostering early learning and socialization skills.
With nearly six years of devoted service at SCBNS, Kristina has also held the position of Director for three years, providing her with a comprehensive understanding of the school’s operations and educational standards. Now, as the Lead Teacher for the 2’s class, she continues to inspire and nurture her young learners by crafting engaging lessons that blend play, creativity, and foundational learning. Her classroom is a vibrant environment where singing, dancing, and imaginative activities are not just encouraged but celebrated.
Outside the classroom, Kristina enjoys spending quality time with her family, often found cheering on her son at the soccer field or unwinding with a yoga class. Her multifaceted experience and genuine love for early childhood education make her a cherished member of the SCBNS family, contributing to the nurturing environment that parents seek for their children. Kristina’s dedication and innovative approach to teaching highlight her as a key asset to the SCBNS community, where every child is valued and encouraged to reach their full potential.
